Have you ever seen the icanhazcheezburger.com site? It is so so so funny to me. Some people think it is stupid (my husband) but I think it is great. The first time I ever found the site I laughed so hard that I almost lost the cookies! Seriously! Then I showed some of my students that were in the classroom at the time and one of them (I'll call her Shelly) laughed so hard with me that neither one of us could see. With each viewing we got more hysterical until finally the teacher from across the hall came over to see what was going on. She didn't seem to think it was as funny as we did. There is also an ihasahotdog.com site for all the dog lovers out there. But I have gotten much much enjoyment over this one awesome website. I check it every day. I send bumperstickers to my facebook friends with lolcats on them. These people that caption the cat pictures are real comedians, I tell you! But, to tell the truth, I have always had a very strange sense of humor and things that I think are funny--usually no one else does. LOLCats remind me of the "Deep Thoughts" by Jack Handley (is that his last name or not?) that were so funny back in the '90s. Maybe it is one of those "had to be there" things, but it hasn't stopped being funny yet.
By the way--does anyone happen to know what or how the affirmative "O.K." or "Okay" came about. Just a random wondering of mine. I guess I'll have to look it up.
